Starting a gaming business—software or hardware first?

I am in the early planning stages of opening a physical gaming location and I'm trying to figure out the best way to allocate my budget. For a small retail setup, would you look for sweepstakes distributor software first, or start with the hardware/kiosk side? I’ve seen some great-looking cabinets, but I’m worried about compatibility issues if the management system I choose later doesn't support the bill acceptors or printers I've already bought.

You are definitely asking the right question, and in this industry, the software should almost always come first. For a small retail setup, would you look for sweepstakes distributor software first, or start with the hardware/kiosk side? I’d recommend starting with the software because a professional platform will dictate your hardware requirements. By choosing your management system first, you ensure that your cashier stations, terminal processors, and peripherals all sync perfectly with the reporting and redemption modules from day one.
